Missions are the primary function of QCAT, however, mining, incursions, exploration and planetary operations are also part of our growing efforts. QCAT members do not initiate PVP, our motto is NRDS.
Tips for mining and other things:
1. Always align to dock
2. Always create a launch point
3. Have safe spots in regular systems (Clear a green site for example and save that location)
4. Mine LVL4 Security mission sites, better than belts and higher yield usually
5. Flip kills blue lets the ganker know your not AFK and it is a nice thing to do to cut down on bad habits by others
6. Never AFK mine
7. Always have combat drones out .. don't make it easy
8. Paying for a mining permit is like screwing a plastic doll with a rubber on .. kinda pointless.
9. You do not need extensive training to PVP .. youll be flying a crap ship with a crap fit and on a crap clone. Training is for missioning and the market and mining aspects of EVE ... try a pvp fit ship on most missions ... most end up spatter on a ships windshield, and your sure as hell not going to be soloing missions on PVP fits. Especially LVL 4's
10. If you see anything in space thats designed to tractor in wrecks that seems abandoned, be careful, these things are very dangerous, your best bet is to kill it, people will respect you and your combat abilities as being one tuff person .. after all killing something that does not shoot back is the definition of a warrior ... 11. Never ever auto pilot to anywhere.
QCAT is a Sovereignty rated Corp. In a few years QCAT will begin recuiting to build its foundation base of personnel which align to the QCAT traditions of Honor, Trust, Dedication and Loyalty.
Minmatar and Gallente Standings both excellent.
Amarr and Caldari standings terrible .. after all we are at war with them.
QCAT is LGBT friendly.
