The Ministry Of Amarrian Secret Service (MASS) was formed when the gates of New Eden first opened. They were requested by the Empire to go to new lands and spread the faith of the Amarr by any means. This led them into what was to be the games very first true Alliance.
The MASS home system was G-ME2K and from there they raged and fought violently until all succomed to their rule.
The Stain Alliance was forged in a time that pre-dated official alliances of today.
This was done with corporations such as The Collective, Interstellar Elite, The Galactic Foreign Legion (GFL), Storm Guard Elite and many others. This Alliance became a family and one that would stand the test of time.
Eventually and after many years the Stain Empire was created and new regions were taken and controlled.
MASS was eventually sent to the new drone regions and built the games first player owned station apart of Rampage Eternal, in memory of Rampage a solid PVPer shot down by a drunk driver.
MASS also won the games very first Amarr championships and were given 4 of the the Holy Apocalypse Imperial Issue as prizes along with a planet and 3 Moons named after the victors Planet (Temperate) - Kor-Azor Prime IV (Eclipticum).
MASS has a very rich history with stories of being contacted by Jovians on several occasions including a battle in DSS-EZ which resulting in the corporation getting the new technology of the Miner II BPO and the games very first modulated beam technology. It was this battle that led to TRIGGER (the CEO of MASS) becoming ill from a variant strain of the Jovian disease and left New Eden for many years. In 2016 the corporation was again brought to life after he survived and was once again ready to reform and start work for the Empire.
